ECE & Mathematics, Engineering Honors · UT Austin

Embedded systems engineer and PCB designer. Intern at Baker Hughes on the Artificial Lift Systems team. Building race car electronics with Longhorn Racing (Formula SAE) at UT Austin.

Experience

Baker Hughes

May 2026 – Aug 2026

Previous Intern at Baker Hughes

  • Designed high-voltage inverter PCBs (2 per phase, 6 per drive) for the FusionPro VSD drive: DC to 3-phase AC conversion feeding the filter driving an ESP motor downhole in oil and gas wells; supporting ~5 drives/week produced in Claremore.
  • Built HIL simulation of full VSD system chain using Typhoon HIL, integrated over a local network interface to an HMI for real-time operator monitoring and control.
  • Wrote 4 Python scripts to interface with test equipment, automating fault/edge-case validation across drive test phases.
  • Built Python tool (Tkinter, pandas, FPDF) to process and visualize dyno datasets spanning 4-40 hours of per-second logged data, auto-generating formatted test reports and cutting report creation time from 10-40 hours down to 1-8 hours.
