- Laying out a 4-layer KiCad PCB: STM32G4, dual DRV8302 gate drivers, 12 N-channel MOSFETs, AS5047P magnetic encoders, ICM-42688 IMU, black soldermask ENIG finish.
- Implementing full FOC from scratch in bare-metal C, writing Clarke/Park transforms, SVPWM generation at 20 kHz via hardware timer interrupt, and cascaded PID for velocity and current loops.
- Building a complementary filter for roll/pitch attitude estimation and a telemetry pipeline (UART → RPi Zero 2W → MQTT → Grafana) to stream phase currents, rotor angle, and gimbal state live.
